Not much going at this hotel if you are looking for pool and some sun then then you wont be disappointed but rest of the

Food was absolutely hideous same thing over the 7 nights, they have an Italian restaurant next door to the buffet hall which you need to book. This was absolutely horrible the food was taken from the main hall portion size was like a Mechlin star restaurant! There are hardly any snacks available during the day, when there is snacks the chips and nuggets are not cooked well at all! No late breakfast just some left over pastry on some days from breakfast. So some days when we had a late night we had nothing to eat till lunchtime. Staff favouritism is at its finest, the bar staff do this the most which was not nice. Asked for an iron on day one kept calling everyday till day 4 we got one. They do not change the bedding the whole time you are there only make the beds. There is no kids club just a small play ground area some nights they will have kids songs on and some dancing for under 3s so was nothing entertaining for my kids. Even to have the kids in the room after the pool closed at 4:30 the wifi was not good at all kept lagging! We were not aware of the water park till the last day we were there another holiday maker told us. Most of the staff do not understand english very little. The bedrooms were fine tidy and clean the bathrooms need a lot of work very dingy and old.

Good

Location was nice, few minutes ride from SOHO square, 20 minutes ride to old town. There was a beach shuttle every hour, few minutes and you were at the beach resort part for our hotel with bar and towels that were included on our all-inclusive bracelet. Also the waiter at beach bar was amazing, we forgot his name but he lend us masks for snorkelling and always brought us drinks. I also have to compliment HASSAN the waiter at our hotel bar, he was nice from day one even tho he didn’t get a tip at very first day, same goes for AHMED, the pool boy/lifeguard, he was preparing towels every day for us, bringing us pool floaties every day. Also staff on reception was always helpful and kind. Breakfast was the only thing that was keeping us sane, great choices of eggs, toast, waffles and pancakes, cereals and everything else. Pool was clean, also every other facility. Room was cleaned every day by YUSSUF, very kind and always eager to help with everything. There was also waterpark with a lot of slides and pools, really great to just change location a bit.

Firstly the food for lunch and dinner is just not good, every day same choices, restaurant was not really clean at first few days we stayed there, no clean tables, no cutlery on tables, you have to wait for staff to bring it to you so you could eat. Italian restaurant does not deserve name italian because there was nothing even slightly italian there, food mostly the same as in the main restaurant but only served a la carte. Secondly, most staff (waiters) were only friendly after the most of Egyptians and Arabic people left and more other nationalities came and after you gave them a big tip so they would actually do their job. Few of them were not even capable of serving a cocktail since they didn’t even know what a cocktail was. Same goes for animation team, there was a timetable of activities from darts and so on but for first few days the animation team didn’t even come up to you and ask if you would like to join any of activities because they didn’t even practice them. Only aqua gym or aerobics and animation program at night ( which was cool) but other than that, it sucked.

I think the hotel needs to be refurbished, some areas need a deep clean. The lifts were very grubby.

Comfortable and relaxing

Very comfortable room. All the staff I met were wonderful and very friendly and helpful. Made a special effort to give me a room on the ground floor with not so much walking ! Nice big pool ( a tad chilly) Reviews before I arrived complained about cleanliness , this has obviously been addressed , as cleaners were constantly out keeping The place tidy.

Bathroom needs updating , photos on site showed nice walk in Showers , my room did not have this and the bath was tiny I never had warm shower water always cold. Breakfast geared to Eastern Europeans , in fact all food was ! Great choices but few in enjoyed ! As all inclusive staff were at times over run as they had to pour such small measures , bigger glasses means less visits to the bar and more relaxed everyone . Only beer on offer was Sakara which after a few was not the most pleasant

Price was excellent, ignoring the star rating claim, it was value for money.

Very old, decore needs updating, especially bathroom, Food was terrible, cleanliness was mixed bag, for 2 days the cleaners had made the bed inside out. Floor didn't seem to get cleaned,

Hotel is below expectations. Was rated 5 star clearly it isn't. Beautiful structure unfortunately it needs massive renovation from basic bedding, towels , furnitures etc. Staff are friendly especially room cleaner but owner need to do some work to keep the hotel up to standard. There is not much activity at the site not sure if it is due to the time of the year . Have to spend much time out not to be bored.

The aqua park was amazing, the staff is very friendly, Ahmed in block 6 who cleans the room was very prompt and should be promoted. Ahmed at the reception was very helpful.

The staff would.always try their best, can't fault them for their efforts. The pool was great too, the kids really enjoyed their time

T room had a number of issues, unfortunately. We paid extra for the jacuzzi, but it was very loud when turned on, so we never used it. The ac was also very loud in 1 of the rooms. WiFi didn't work very well, staff came over on 5 occasions in total, which finally got it working, but would constantly go on and off so left it as it was. The buffet was also badly managed, people pushing in, long queues on a few days and generally a lack of cutlery

Hotel experience

We liked the room a lot, bathroom with jacuzzi, balcony with beautiful view to the mountains and swimming pool. The area around is nice, looks like Venice - with channels and bridges, pools. Kids were happy for aquapark. The fire show was intersting if it was not so late and loud.

Very loud music untill 23:00. Trying to rest with kids in "family hotel", it was impossible to sleep while there was crazy party in the yard every night right under our balcony. The food in the buffet wasn' t very inspiring, the bread was not always fresh. Some of food was good (mostly vegetables). But coffee/tea/drinks were horrible. No juices at all. I would say we never take all-inclusive hotel again, better little charming B&B or private place.

The reception is wonderful and the staff are very very nice and helpful, always smiling and well-mannered. The swimming pool is also clean and spacious

The hotel in general does not deserve 5 stars because it is only 3 stars. The price is very high and exaggerated compared to the expected service. The bathrooms in the rooms are very bad. The refrigerator is very small and does not work, and it lacks a lot of international five-star service. I felt that the amount was only due for 3 or 2 stars, not five stars as I expected.

Staff in the pools they will aroganted.They were late with opening snacks bar and finished at the time.All the time they offer as the services (spa,trips,photografers...).You dont have peace on the pool.The russian guests were loud all night.
